Offering private lessons & Group workshops
Sam Hudson is a Toronto-based music educator, multi-instrumentalist, and producer with over 8 years experience working in music education. Proficient in piano, guitar, songwriting, and production Sam’s work has been featured on CBC Radio with his debut release Icarus recognized in CBC Searchlight’s Top 100 songs.
Sam has spent the past eight years teaching a wide range of students—from accomplished musicians to enthusiastic beginners, including preschoolers, teens and children with ASD and/or ADHD.
In 2022, Sam designed and implemented a popular music program at Elsipogtog First Nation School, with a focus on beat-making and production. He currently works as an affiliate with Monkey Business Creative as a preschool and school-age music educator and performer in Toronto, while also running his own private music education business.
Whether in group settings or private lessons, Sam is committed to guiding each student along their unique musical path in a low-stress, judgment-free environment.
Lessons focus on a mix of fun and steady progress through dedicated practice schedules, creativity, ear training, feel-training, and more. Students can also expect bi-yearly performance opportunities (they are optional but encouraged lol).
Sam has previously taught both private and group lessons at Long & McQuade and Orrett Music Academy, Toronto’s largest music school.
